Shyness caused by complexes

In some people shyness finds its cause in the complexes they suffer from. You can also overcome the shyness of people with a complex, but logically before you have to try to overcome those complexes that promote a withdrawn character. Shyness caused by complexes is a difficult issue because of the feedback from both elements.

Complexes and shyness: how they are related

  • Most people suffer from some kind of complex, be it a physical, psychological or social complex. Living with a complex can be the reason for shyness, since the vast majority of complexes lead to a specific one, the inferiority complex and, therefore, destroys the person’s self-esteem. Insecurity and fear of ridicule are the hallmarks of shyness.
  • These complexes that are presented as one of the causes of shyness may be physical complexes that prevent you from relating to others due to a feeling of shame, or they may be psychological complexes that create so much insecurity that you prefer not to participate in any social activity. But they can also be social complexes that make you feel different, if not inferior, and you prefer to go unnoticed.
  • In these cases, in which shyness and complexes go hand in hand, the method to overcome shyness must be accompanied by another method to overcome the complex in question. It is not easy, since we are talking about two problems that are intermingled, but we already know that everything is possible if we look inside ourselves. There are all the resources to be stronger psychologically and to successfully face any play of our self-esteem.
  • Because we talk about self-esteem when we talk about complexes and overcoming complexes. And we also talk about self-esteem when it comes to shyness and overcoming shyness. Improving self-esteem will stop complexes from manipulating our lives and shyness will become a barely visible trait of our character.
